After forty years in the esthetic business, I’m still standing. From my beginnings as a esthetics student myself to a medical aesthetician and medi-spa owner and teacher, my journey has taught me that one can only get stronger by jumping in with two feet.
I created the Nicola Finch Laserspa Academy because I saw a need for it in the marketplace. Too many standards have been sliding, real industry education getting swept under the rug in favour of quick and easy “chairside training” as the need for more medical aestheticians rises. It saddens me that that’s what the industry I love is coming to. So I did something about it. I took yet another leap and started a school to train students the proper skills to be successful in the medical aesthetics biz. Because there are no limits to what we as women can accomplish when we put our minds — and our hearts and belief in ourselves — to it.
