Laser & IPL Aesthetics is designed for practitioners who wish to expand their knowledge of advanced light-based technologies used in modern skin rejuvenation and aesthetic practice.
This program provides a strong foundation in laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) theory, treatment planning, skin assessment, safety protocols, and professional application.
Drawing on decades of experience in aesthetics education, students learn not only how these technologies work, but when they are appropriate, how to assess suitability, and how to integrate them safely into professional practice.
Prerequisites
Applicants should have previous education, training, or practical experience in a related beauty, aesthetics, wellness, healthcare, or personal-service field.
Relevant backgrounds may include esthetics, spa services, lash or brow services, microblading or permanent makeup, massage therapy, nursing, medical or dental services, or other related professional experience.
Applicants without previous industry experience may be considered on an individual basis.
Students must be comfortable with independent online learning and completing the required online theory prior to attending hands-on training.

Two-Level Training Program
Level One – Online Theory
Laser Skin Biology & Laser Physics
Format: Online, self-paced
Duration: Approximately 12 hours
Level One establishes a strong theoretical foundation in laser science, skin and hair biology, and laser safety. This level is a prerequisite for hands-on training and may also be taken independently for Laser Safety Certification.

Level Two focuses on clinical application, safety, and treatment confidence. Students perform laser and IPL treatments under professional supervision in a clinical setting.

Certification
Upon successful completion of both Level One and Level Two, students receive Certification from Nicola Finch Laserspa Academy.
