Why the Nicola Finch Laserspa Academy is the Okanagan's #1 Choice

Medical Esthetics: More Than Meets the Eye

I’ve lived in Kelowna for over 25 of years. I can’t imagine living anywhere else! The natural beauty, the culture, and especially the people that have passed through my life thanks to my career -- some have even gone on to be good friends. Seeing the results of what I do by simply giving someone a laser or skin rejuvenation treatment, creates a glow you can see that starts from the inside-out. Medical esthetics can often be misjudged as a vanity industry. But it’s not. Never judge a reason for someone wanting or needing a treatment -- who knows where those scars came from or what kind of effect having too much unwanted hair on the body had! Treating the outside can help whatever’s going on in the inside.

Pausing to reflect on all these reasons I do what I do, teaching seemed like the next natural step. By taking responsibility, I could share my knowledge with the next generation of laser technicians and medical estheticians by showing them that choosing this career is so much more than skin-deep.

The Nicola Finch Laserspa Academy

I built my Academy on the fundamentals of professionalism, fun!, and giving back. Whether you’re fresh out of school and focused on being a medical esthetician, or re-starting at the beginning on a new path in a new industry; we’re all in it together. That’s what makes our academy different: the place, the people, and the level of education.

I’m so proud to offer my students a quality education through expertly designed courses and training on equipment and philosophies by the biggest names in the business: Candela, Venus, EndyMed, and SilkPeel to name a few. It’s a good feeling when you’re supported by industry influencers, and allows me to give my students an exceptional experience.
