Certified Laser Technician:

This course​ consists of online training that is taken at your leisure (Approx. 15 hours) and 15 hours hands-on training. Our hands on training is conducted at our Laserspa Academy in the heart of Kelowna, BC’s cultural district. The majority of coursework is completed online, at your leisure. Then you will come in for hands on training to practice using Lasers safely and effectively.  Prior to hands on training you will have the full understanding of Laser/IPL physics, skin biology, hair biology, skin typing, skin diseases and disorder's and most of all Laser/IPL safety. (You will also receive a certificate in Laser/IPL safety).​​

There are no prerequisites required for the Laser Technician Course.

However, you must have:

• A love for skin

• In good health.

• Twenty years or older and have experience working with public.

• Clean makeup, nice nails, great positive personality.

Zoom Sessions

There will be two - one and a half hour zoom sessions prior to hands training to review skin and hair biology, laser physics, consultation and understanding how set up the Laser/IPL for skin and hair removal treatments and most of all Laser/IPL safety. 

We will make sure you feel completely confident and ready for hands-on training.

We also offer ongoing support during and after your training. We will be there for you every step of the way!
